CASE OF VASSALLO v. HUNGARY \u2013 32662\/20<\/a>. Due to the lack of such precautions, a period of three years and nine months in a matter as sensitive as the international return and parental custody rights of young children was not in compliance with the positive obligation to act expeditiously. The Court does not observe any circumstances capable of exempting the domestic courts from such obligations.<\/p>\n

CASE OF ROMANIUK v. POLAND<\/a>. The issue in the case is whether the criminal proceedings against the applicant had been fair considering that he was not given an opportunity to examine or to have examined his co-defendant whose evidence was decisive for his conviction.<\/p>\n

CASE OF ZAGORSKA v. BULGARIA \u2013 53285\/15<\/a>. The case concerns the confiscation of the applicant\u2019s assets as proceeds of crime. The case is of the type examined in Todorov and Others v. Bulgaria (nos. 50705\/11 and 6 others, 13 July 2021), and concerns the forfeiture of assets of the applicant as proceeds of crime.<\/p>\n

It has been variously described as a science and the art of justice.
