COUNCIL DECISION (EU)\u00a02019\/578<\/p>\n

of 8\u00a0April 2019<\/p>\n

appointing an alternate member, proposed by the Kingdom of Denmark, of the Committee of the Regions<\/p>\n

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,<\/p>\n

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European\u00a0Union, and in particular Article\u00a0305 thereof,<\/p>\n

Having regard to the proposal of the Danish Government,<\/p>\n

Whereas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n
\n

(1)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

On\u00a026\u00a0January\u00a02015, 5\u00a0February\u00a02015 and\u00a023\u00a0June\u00a02015, the Council adopted Decisions (EU)\u00a02015\/116\u00a0(1<\/span>), (EU)\u00a02015\/190\u00a0(2<\/span>) and (EU)\u00a02015\/994\u00a0(3<\/span>) appointing the members and alternate members of the Committee of the Regions for the period from\u00a026\u00a0January\u00a02015 to\u00a025\u00a0January\u00a02020. On 4\u00a0June 2018, by Council Decision (EU)\u00a02018\/839\u00a0(4<\/span>), Mr Per N\u00d8RHAVE was replaced by Mr Marc PERERA CHRISTENSEN as an alternate member.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n

An alternate member’s seat on the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the end of the term of office of Mr Marc PERERA CHRISTENSEN,<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:<\/p>\n

Article 1<\/p>\n

The following is hereby appointed as an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions for the remainder of the current term of office, which runs until 25\u00a0January 2020:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n
