An Act<\/p>\n
To correct the Swan Lake hydroelectric project survey boundary and to
\nprovide <<NOTE: July 20, 2018 – [H.R. 219]>> for the conveyance of the
\nremaining tract of land within the corrected survey boundary to the
\nState of Alaska.<\/p>\n
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
\nUnited States of America in Congress assembled, <<NOTE: Swan Lake
\nHydroelectric Project Boundary Correction Act.>>
\nSECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.<\/p>\n
This Act may be cited as the “Swan Lake Hydroelectric Project
\nBoundary Correction Act”.
\nSEC. 2. CONVEYANCE OF FEDERAL LAND WITHIN THE SWAN LAKE
\nHYDROELECTRIC PROJECT BOUNDARY.<\/p>\n
Not <<NOTE: Deadline.>> later than 18 months after the date of
\nenactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior, after consultation
\nwith the Secretary of Agriculture, shall–
\n(1) survey the exterior boundaries of the tract of Federal
\nland within the project boundary of the Swan Lake Hydroelectric
\nProject (FERC No. 2911) as generally depicted and labeled “Lost
\nCreek” on the map entitled “Swan Lake Project Boundary–Lot
\n2” and dated February 1, 2016; and
\n(2) issue a patent to the State of Alaska for the tract
\ndescribed in paragraph (1) in accordance with–
\n(A) the survey authorized under paragraph (1);
\n(B) section 6(a) of the Act of July 7, 1958
\n(commonly known as the “Alaska Statehood Act”) (48
\nU.S.C. note prec. 21; Public Law 85-508); and
\n(C) section 24 of the Federal Power Act (16 U.S.C.
\n818).<\/p>\n
